Prosecco Superiore is made using the Charmat method, where the secondary fermentation takes place in a pressurized tank, resulting in a fresh and fruity wine with a fine and persistent perlage (bubbles). The "Extra Dry" style of Prosecco has a slight sweetness with a residual sugar content of 12-17 grams per liter.
Malibran-Gorio Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra dry Prosecco Superiore is known for its pale yellow color with greenish reflections, and its aromas of ripe apples, pears, and citrus fruits, with floral notes of acacia and wisteria. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with a good balance of sweetness and acidity, and flavors of citrus and green apple. It has a lower alcohol content, typically around 11%.
